BIRENE is developed from natural fibres abundantly found in tropical agro-climatic zones. The crops we use have one of the highest rates of carbon dioxide absorption per acre. The Carbon Dioxide absorbed from the environment is used by the plant to grow biomass and locked into its stem fibres. We then sustainably extract this carbon to create BIRENE. It's one of the most sustainable nano-materials ever produced.
BIRENE & AGRINO are significantly lower in cost than other industry solutions. In the world of advanced nano-materials, the biggest drawback has been that super materials like graphene are too expensive to commercially adopt yet. We developed BIRENE & AGRINO keeping in mind the need for the industry to adopt it at a price they can afford for commercial products.
SCALABLE & MASS MANUFACTURING
Our proprietary process was created with the aim to scale up from laboratory research to mass manufacturing. Since BIRENE is sourced from agricultural crops, we have the advantage of being able to mass produce the nano-carbons from practically anywhere on the planet. Furthermore, our advantage over existing graphene is in our ability to produce large quantities of BIRENE for commercial adoption.
